Rationale
3dguides is a platform for creating multilingual 3D and Augmented Reality guides with no need for professional knowledge of those technologies. The platform is composed of a content management system, an authoring tool and guides. Α non-experienced user can create guides with articles, routes, mini-games, 3D and AR content, in a few minutes, using drag and drop features.

3dguides is the result of the combined effort of a strong technical partner, Omega Technology and a specialized firm on touristic guides, TOUBIS S.A. This work was co-financed by the Greek Information Society Company ίη the framework of the ict4growth program.
Results
The main outcome of the project is the innovative 3dguides platform, through which anyone can build his own multilingual guides enhanced with 3D and Augmented Reality. During the project the platform was used for the development of 9 guides in 4 languages that are available for download.
